About

(The fruits' roots...)

Members of the original Left On Red have teamed up with friends from Somerville to bring you Boston's Purest Jam Band. The band is pioneering pure band-level improvisational techniques. They compose everything you hear on the spot and swapsinstruments throughout the show. If you like the Goosepimp Orchestra, Umphrey's McGee, Phish, or Yes, don't miss these guys at your local venues like The Toad.

Mike, Dan, Jay, and Matt moved to 345 Beacon St in Somerville, Mass. in February of 2009. Geoff jammed with Mike and Dan twice in February and began discussing the pure jam band for performance concept. On March 7, the boys of 345 Beacon threw a house-warming party and and 345Beacon had its first ever open jam session. Geoff, Mike, and Dan continued to meet throughout March and April. The group expanded on March 7 to include Jay, Matt, and Allie. Since then the group has been preparing to play local venues like The Toad.
