Geoffrey Hale has been playing piano for 18 years. He started when he was 5 years old on his family's upright piano. He received 6 years of classical training and 2 years of jazz primarily from Gail Beamer. Improvisation opened his mind, heart, and soul to piano and it has been an essential part of his life ever since.
While in high school, Geoffrey Hale joined best friends Stephen Nicholson and Jason Anick in Left On Red, a jam band based out of Marlborough, MA. Left On Red played with many talented friends including Daniel Emino, and Jenna Bracciale. Left on Red played a series of coffee house style gigs for a few years before dissolving into Trading Fours. Geoffrey Hale and Jason continued to play together for several political functions in the Marlborough area before leaving for college in 2004.
Geoffrey Hale was a member of several music groups at MHS. He played piano for Jazz Band, accompanied Show Choir and Mixed Chorus, and sang bass II with the A Cappella Choir.
Geoffrey Hale performed with the Nor'Easters and the NUCS whileat NEU. He did vocal percussion for the Nor'Easters and sang bass II for the NUCS.

Geoffrey Hale played improvisational jazz at The Oregon Club and Sorentos.
Geoffrey Hale has teamed up with Michael Albonesi and Daniel Emino to work on a purist jam band concept. This past May the group expanded and has been named 345Beacon in honor of the apartment where they practice.
Geoffrey Hale is working with Alexandria Brodeur on a circuit bending project called Project Bent: The Bendgineers and Decompression Sickness.
